Case Sharing & De-Identification Policy - All shared cases **must be fully de-identified** to comply with **HIPAA and patient privacy laws**. - Any shared information **must not include**: ✔ **Patient names, initials, or any personal identifiers** ✔ **Birth dates (except the year)** ✔ **Contact information (phone numbers, email, addresses, etc.)** ✔ **Medical record numbers, insurance details, or other unique identifiers** ✔ **Full-face photographs or any images that could identify a patient (must crop the face to ensure anonymity)** - Members are responsible for ensuring their shared content is fully de-identified before posting. --- 4. Permitted Activities - Discussing **treatment methodologies, case studies, and clinical outcomes**. - Providing **peer support and professional insights**. - Sharing **best practices, research, and educational content** related to Myoaligner®. --- 5. Prohibited Activities - **No patient-identifiable data**: Sharing any data that could identify a patient will result in immediate removal from the group. - **No sales or promotions**: The group is strictly **not for ordering, sales, or marketing of products or services, except for discussions related to Myoaligner® products or other useful products relevant to dental education.** - **No unauthorized sharing of content**: Members may not redistribute or use shared content for personal gain or unauthorized publication. - **No solicitation**: Members may not promote or solicit services, products, or other business activities. --- 6.
